Honoring the Past. Supporting the Present. Saving the Future.

A Tradition of Recognition, Remembrance, and Action.

The Southeast North Carolina Veterans Parade is dedicated to celebrating our heroes, educating future generations, and taking action to support the well-being of our veterans.

Our Mission & History

We are proud to announce the annual Southeast North Carolina Veterans Parade, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. This event is presented in partnership with the City of Wilmington and New Hanover County Veterans Council, and we welcome attendees from throughout Southeast North Carolina and beyond.

This parade was originally conceived by Marc Biddison, a Vietnam veteran who experienced the unfortunate reality faced by many returning service members of his era—returning home only to be met with indifference or hostility, rather than gratitude. With this history in mind, the parade’s theme, “Honoring All Who Served,” reflects a commitment to recognizing the service and sacrifice of all veterans, across all branches of the United States Armed Forces.

To bring this important event to life, Mr. Biddison assembled a dedicated planning committee comprised of both fellow veterans and supportive members of the community who share a desire to show their appreciation.

We look forward to this opportunity to honor and celebrate the courageous individuals who have served our nation.
